The businesses on this page get hired to do the actual work of getting a company in front of buyers and turning attention into pipeline. That means writing and placing adverts, building and running social and email campaigns, producing content and creative, designing brand identity and guidelines, pitching journalists, running market research and focus groups, building lead lists and outbound sequences, setting up and interpreting marketing analytics dashboards, and organising the events and sponsorships that put a company's name in front of the right room. When they're doing their job well, a customer sees more qualified leads landing in the CRM, a launch that lands with the audience it was built for, coverage in the press they wanted, or simply clarity on which of their existing spend is working and which isn't.
People end up looking for this kind of help because something in the marketing engine has stalled or never existed. Maybe there's no consistent flow of leads and sales keeps asking where the pipeline is. Maybe a rebrand or product launch is coming and there's no one in-house who can do research, positioning and creative at the same time. Maybe marketing spend has grown but nobody can say with confidence what it's actually returning, or the brand looks and sounds inconsistent across channels because it's been assembled piecemeal. Sometimes it's simpler than that: a small team is stretched too thin to run everything from SEO to social to PR, and something has to be handed off.
The providers here solve this in quite different ways, so the differences matter more than the category label. Some work as full-service agencies that will run your whole marketing function; others are narrow specialists in one discipline, like media buying, PR, or marketing mix modelling, and expect to plug into a team you already have. Pricing runs from fixed-fee projects to ongoing retainers to genuinely performance-based lead generation, and each model shifts the risk differently. Some are built for enterprise brands with long sales cycles and heavy compliance; others are built for fast-moving smaller companies who need output quickly and cheaply. When comparing them, look past the service list and check who actually does the work versus who just advises, what size team you'll be assigned, whether they can show results in your industry rather than generic case studies, and how flexible the contract is if the first few months don't work.
